Summer Lovin'

Terri

Hi folks! July’s been a busy one for me—getting my third novel, The Picture of Desire, edited and out to ARC readers, and finishing my Curves & Cravats novella, His Ample Desire. It’s a little steamier than I’d initially intended, but who’s complaining, right?

If you want to sign up to ARC read His Ample Desire, you can do so here. NB: if you already signed up with the Curves & Cravats ARC/influencer form, there’s no need to do so again! (but if you can’t remember, feel free to). ARCs go out on the first of August!

Speaking of Curves & Cravats, don’t forget to sign up for our FREE teaser bundle. Every author has an extract of their first chapters, and there are four incredible short stories there, too. But don’t leave it too long, because it’ll only be available until August 13th!

Awesome new releases

I’ve got some great new releases for you guys to enjoy!

First is Eliana Piers’s A Villain for a Duke, which released last month! And that’s right, it’s a Christmas in summer book (gotta get in the mood early, right?). Its tropes are: instalove gone wrong, enemies to lovers, good girl gone bad. You can find it here!

Next we have Petticoats and Prejudice by the talented Mihwa Lee, which has the tropes: enemies to lovers, secrets, alpha hero, compromised heroine, love triangle but not really, blackmail. It’s SPICY, guys, be warned (and enjoy). You can get it from her website: mihwawrites.com.

Last but very much not least is Lavinia Glen’s The Duchess’s Desperate Deal, which you can preorder now. Release is on the 31st, and you’ll also be able to get it on KU! It’s a little scandalous—a dying husband asking his wife to get pregnant by his heir? You won’t want to miss out on this one!

That’s all from me! I’ll be back in August with more special deals, releases, and reading recs. Until then!

A quick hello from Kiera!

Despite this wash-out summer I hope you’re enjoying lots of great reads. I can’t wait for Terri’s new releases - you can bet they’re hot on my reading list for August.

In the meantime, I’m heading away for a couple of weeks to Pembrokeshire, where I’m going to be starting Celandine’s story. Sneak peak: forced proximity, a compromised heroine and a lot of angst in the offing. It may even get a little steamy!

More of that later. In the meantime, keep up with events in Aunt Augusta’s latest missive and have a great summer.

Until next month

Aunt Augusta’s letters

My Dear Edward,

What an extraordinary development. While I am delighted to see you relieved of the expenses your half-sisters necessarily incur, the dowager’s choice of husband has us all astounded. Indeed, yesterday I had not two, not three, but four morning callers, all agog and hastening to inform me of the latest on-dit regarding her nuptials and the man—I cannot use the term gentleman—to whom she is now tied.

A merchant no less. At first I thought there must be some mistake, but it seems not. To suggest I am affronted is an understatement. You may say all you wish about his comfortable circumstances and his welcome of your sisters into his family, but for the Dowager to stoop so low is an unwelcome shock.

Goodness knows how Priscilla will manage to present poor Emmaline and Harriet after this debacle. Who will consider a young lady with such an unprepossessing inlaw? Celandine has, of course, had two seasons during which it appears she has managed to offend every eligible gentleman with her silly expectations, so it is not her future that is in doubt. She has sealed that already. However, I feel it incumbent upon me to do what I can to assist the younger girls and shall give the subject due thought.

My kind regards to Amelia at this sickly stage of her advancement.

Yours,

Aunt Augusta
