The Picture of Desire cover reveal!
Terri
Hi, folks. Exciting news: I’ve sent The Picture of Desire off to beta readers! And this week I’ve also had the final cover back.
So, without any further ado, look at it!

I love purple—can you tell?
To Marry the Devil was pretty steamy, but IF I keep all the steamy scenes, I think The Picture of Desire will be steamier. Whoops. Henry REALLY is not good at keeping that vow of chastity where Louisa is concerned.
(If I don’t end up keeping all the smut tasteful steam, I will make the scenes available as newsletter freebies.)
I’ve mentioned before that I’ve taken on a lot with this book, as it’s dual timeline and is VERY heavy on the angst, but I’m feeling really good about it and I can’t wait to get it into the world!
Current Read
I’m currently reading Abducted by Mihwa Lee! When I’m really heavy in writing and edits, as I am now, I often don’t have much time for reading, but Abducted is so different from many HR reads (including mine!) that it’s hard to put it down.

That’s all. I’ll be back to post my ARC form as soon as I know the full scope of necessary editing. (Deadline who?)

Letters from Augusta (Kiera)
Dearest Amelia,
How gratifying to hear your confinement has resulted in such a successful outcome. Exceptionally well done! I have always considered you to be a sensible young woman and this triumph leaves me in no doubt regarding your superior qualities of resilience and single-minded determination.
My dear, twins have never before featured in our family, if the Stamford family Bible is to be believed, therefore your exceptional cleverness in producing not only an heir but a sister to guide him, exceeds even my expectations.
No doubt my nephew is giddy with his imagined success—as if males have much to do with the process (indeed, the less said about their input the better, as I’m sure you’ll agree). My advice is to smile and agree that he is much to be congratulated and keep your thoughts to yourself. In due course, the novelty will wear off and he will return to a more tolerable state of being.
When may we expect you in Town? The tittle-tattle regarding the Jorgensens’ elevation to high society continues unabated, therefore a distraction that turns attention to our family would be desirable if it is the intention to launch Celandine next Season.
I look forward to hearing from you shortly,
Your exultant Aunt Augusta
Until next time!
