The Lady Lies coming soon!
Hello again! Kiera here!
I can’t believe how quickly the weeks are passing, which is HUGELY exciting because it means the launch of my debut novel is getting closer. :D The first in my Pistols and Pastels series, The Lady Lies, is now in the final stages of editing before being released for ARC readers - whoop, whoop! If you enjoy sweet Regency romance, and are interested in being an ARC reader for me, watch this space!
To whet your appetite, here are a couple more quotes from The Lady Lies:
“I know it’s an appalling breach of propriety for me to suggest it, but were we to decide on an—uh—arrangement, we would be helping each other.”
“An arrangement?”
His gaze was quizzical and she coloured. “Yes. You know precisely the sort of thing I mean,” she said with a moue. “You need to marry for money and I have plenty.”
With a groan, he moved towards her, his thumb caressing her cheek, but before his lips brushed hers, he jerked back, dropped his hand and stared straight in front of him, muttering a curse.
“I don’t know how it is, you lying, unscrupulous termagant,” he murmured, “but you have got under my skin and I cannot expunge you. Your face haunts my dreams, your voice invades my thoughts . . . everywhere I go, there you are, like a bright flame in the darkness. But it cannot be, my love, it cannot.
Regency Romance Recommendations

My latest read has been a delight. Miss Fleming Falls in Love has all the elements I love: witty dialogue, a strong heroine, just a touch of angst and a delightful, sweet ending. Not to mention the misunderstood hero! A triumph of a first novel, this story is a great Regency romp in the style of Georgette Heyer and I can’t wait for the next one. If you’re a Heyer fan, don’t miss this book – you can check it out here.
Family Fun
Enough of books – it’s time to introduce you to the most important members of the family, Cassie and Harris.

Mum and brother to Terri’s beautiful cocker, Ebony, they are truly awesome hounds . . . bringing sand and mud everywhere they go and demanding constant attention. Hehe, Terri will be looking after them soon while we whisk off to sunnier climes for a couple of weeks. Good luck, Terri!
Until then, happy reading!
