February News
Hello, my lovely subscribers! Terri here with a quick update.
First of all, I’ve joined this fun new historical Facebook group called Historical Hoydens—go check it out! I’ve teamed up with a bunch of fabulous authors and it’s a LOT of fun. Find out more about them here:

We talk about writing, historical facts, and by now there are SEVERAL images of shirtless men (for research reasons, of course), so if you like talking about books, sex, or what sort of man you might be trapped in a castle/inn/ditch with, please do join us. We would love to have you.
Personal News
Unfortunately, things have been a bit slow on my end.
The truth is, this newsletter is both (slightly) late and devoid of much of the content I had intended for it, because this week was meant to be one of productivity. Instead, I have tonsillitis (boo). So, while I am up-to-date on Love is Blind and a few fun serial killer documentaries, I have NOT been writing.
I haven’t even been reading, because I decided in my hubris that I wouldn’t bring my kindle with me, and it turns out that trying to balance reading a book as three dogs vie to be in your lap (I’m also dog-sitting this week, what joy) is challenging.
Sometimes, life truly does be what it does.
Writing Update
All is not lost, however! I have been making progress behind the scenes, and I’m getting geared up ready to commission my cover, which is exciting! I’ve bought my stock couple after hours of looking for the perfect pair (no more relying on depositphotos like I did for my last cover!) and now I just need to figure out a title.
(Booo.)
(Seriously though, why are titles so hard?)
I’ll be making a poll when I’m a little less feverish over the next few days, probably in Historical Hoydens and maybe some of the other historical romance groups I’m in. Keep your eyes peeled! (And join our group—did I mention that?)
Kiera is in the last stages of preparing her sequel for beta readers, so if you love sweet romance, get ready for that! If anyone wants to be a beta reader and help craft the book, drop us an email.
That’s all from me for now—the dogs want something. Again. I tell you, theirs is a blessed life.
Until next time,
Terri x
