Terri
Hello dearest readers,
I think we’re all in the same boat when we say that this has been a TOUGH week. Originally, my plan was to scream about Oliver’s epilogue and wave some free books in your face, but pretending like nothing is happening while atrocities are being committed in plain sight in America just feels… empty.
As a romance reader and writer, what I do is political by nature. And I will not be silent while my friends are suffering.
What ICE and the American administration are doing is enormously, catastrophically, terrifyingly wrong on every level. I’ve sat at my keyboard wondering what to say about it—I’m in the UK, sitting safe at home, and I feel as though I almost don’t have a right to be fearful and afraid, because I’m under no direct threat. But to be silent is to be complicit, and I refuse to keep posting about my books as though nothing is happening.
For that reason, I’ve joined with Romance for Minnesota, a collection of authors who are donating books and other merch and freebies to support donations to The Immigrant Rapid Response Fund (IRRF). Everyone who donates has a chance to win, and winners will be announced on Sunday Feb 1st. I’m giving away copies of my four novels in the Finders Keepers series, and there are loads of other INCREDIBLE authors giving away INCREDIBLE prizes.
Please, please, please join me in donating. Show your support in any way you can. My platform is small, but unity is what wins wars.
You can find more information about the cause and what you can win here.
Thank you.
Free books

Now for what you’re here for. There are almost 800 free books, so after you’ve donated, have a scroll and see what you fancy reading. There are some amazing HRs, but also loads of other genres available too!
If there’s something we need more of in this world, it’s love.
So indulge. I know you need it.
Epilogue
Last but not least on the agenda for today is the extended epilogue for To Steal a Bride! I know it’s delayed, but it’s here at last, and I hope it’s worth the wait. Oliver and Emily have become so special to me, and I really wanted to do them justice.
Also featuring brief mentions of Doris the chicken and Clarabella the pig. I have no idea if they’re fan favourites, but they’re author favourites, so.
I hope you enjoy!

On that note, thank you SO MUCH for reading Oliver and Emily’s story! This book release has gone so much better than I ever could have hoped, and my little book has found so many readers. I’m just in awe and so amazed every time I think about it. When the world is such a scary place, it feels almost wrong to be celebrating things like this—but we must. Just as I refuse to be silent, I refuse to let fear steal my joy.
So I’m grateful.
I’m grieving.
And I am still writing.
Until next time, loves.
Terri x
